Earth Colony 1 is in the earliest foundation stage and has not yet raised the funds required to initiate any major projects.

As funds permit, Earth Colony 1 will pursue a qualified contractor to establish a top-level strategy and plan for establishing a near-earth space colony.  Our current estimation is that this first step will require $250,000.  The results of this study will provide plans for subsequent research projects.

In the meantime, Earth Colony 1 is pursuing its own internal project to perform a top-level comparison of near Earth colonization alternatives.  See "Research" page for additional information.
